Fiestop sealant VitSiL: VIT-1F (a 310ml bottle)

Fiestop sealant VitSiL: VIT-1F  (a 310ml bottle)

1. Product description: 

VIT-1F: One-component super fire retardant adhesive, acrylic emulsion based and specially formulated for fire resistance. Fire retardant sealant helps control the spread of fire/smoke between different fire compartments, smoke and toxic gases before, during and after fire exposure by fire retardant maintaining the original volume to avoid creating gaps, voids...

2. Properties:

- Water based, asbestos or fiber free.

- Easy application.

- Short surface maintenance.

- Can be painted on the product surface when dry.

- Good adhesion to concrete, glass, metal and construction substrates.

- Flexible.

- Low VOC (VOC: Volatile Organic Compound).

- Fire resistance up to 4 hours without using any other filling materials.

3. Technical information of Fiestop sealant VitSiL: VIT-1F : 

- Chemical basis: Acrylic based air absorbent compound containing organic fillers

- White

- Specific gravity: 1.56 ± 0.03 g / cm3

- Surface drying time 70%: 15-25 minutes (25oC and 50% humidity)

- Shrinkage volume %: 10-15

- Tensile strength at break: ≥ 0.4 N / mm2 (ASTM D 412 C)

- Elongation at break: > 100% (ASTM D 412 C)

- VOCs: 0.02g/l

- Ph: 7.5 – 9

4. Application:

- Optimal construction temperature: +5oC to +45oC

- Application temperature: +800oC to +1000oC

- The application surface must be solid, clean, dry and free of dust, oil and grease. Suitable for the applications below;

  ▪ Control gaps in masonry, air ducts, electrical conduits, electrical wires, steel pipes, cable trays, fire-resistant sealing holes in construction works, fire-resistant wall frames, glass, etc.

5. Specification: One 310ml bottle - one carton of 12 bottles

6. Storage and use:

- Store products in cool, dry places.

- Keep and store at temperatures below 40°C

- Avoid direct exposure to sunlight

- Expiry date: 12 months from date of manufacture (see on bottle)

7. Caution: 

- Keep out of reach of children

- Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Use gloves before applying Fiestop sealant VitSiL: VIT-1F

- Avoid freezing, direct sunlight and temperatures above 40°C when in use.

- If eyes come into contact with the product, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

- Do not use this product for medical purposes, do not inject and human body.

- Do not use for fish tanks or locations in constant contact with water, not suitable for joints requiring elasticity and underwater.
